The Black Country and Marshes Institute of Technology is a major new development based in Dudley opening in September 2021.

Specialising in higher level technical education programmes and Apprenticeships, the new employer-led Institute of Technology will bring together the training offer of Dudley College of Technology with key partners including University of Wolverhampton, University of Worcester, In-Comm Training Services Limited and Avensys UK limited.

It will deliver a wide range of higher level courses in Manufacturing and Engineering, Medical Engineering and Healthcare, Modern Construction Methodologies and Digital Technologies.

We are currently looking to recruit Lecturers, Trainer/Assessors and Instructors in the following subject areas:-

Medical Engineering and Healthcare – Laboratory, Biomedical and Health Professional.

We are particularly interested in recruiting industry experts who are looking for new opportunities to use their recent industry skills and expertise to enrich the lives of young people and adults through passing on their knowledge.

In return we offer a generous pay and reward package including:-

  • Annual salary of up to £49,128 for Lecturers, £32, 508 for Trainer/Assessors and £27,239 for Instructors.
  • Enrolment in the Teacher’s Pension Scheme and Local Government Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions.
  • 37 days annual leave for Lecturers and 25 for Trainer/Assessors and Instructors plus 8 bank holidays and 5 efficiency days.
