We are looking to employ an additional Lecturer to our Animal Welfare team on a part time basis working 22.5 hours per week. This is an exciting time to join the team and help the Animal Welfare department continue to achieve success as our courses are proving as popular as ever and student numbers continue to rise.
The delivery of Animal Welfare courses while participating in curriculum development to meet the needs of changing industrial demand and College development. Tutoring and management of one or more courses or groups of students. To participate in demonstrations and practical activities with students.
Applicants must have a broad range of knowledge and industry experience working with a wide range of animals, including small mammals, exotics and large animals. Applicants should have an excellent knowledge base in Animal Health, Biology, Behaviour, Nutrition and Welfare and have experience working with you people.
A degree level qualification in this field, in addition to a wealth of industry experience is essential. Ideally the post holder for this role will hold a teaching and assessment qualification or be willing to work towards this.
