HR Business Partner (Schools)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team!

We are looking for a passionate, proactive HR Professional who is able to balance operational and strategic demands and who is looking to make an impact within our Trust!

As the HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in developing a cohesive HR Service to the Midland Academies Trust. You will be an integral member of the HR team providing engaging leadership; driving interventions and business solutions and the forward planning and embedding of best practice workforce modernisation, utilisation and people effectiveness, to support the optimisation of capacity and capability for all staff within the Trust. You will also actively contribute to the development of innovative and leading edge People and Organisational Effectiveness strategies, policies and practices as a member of the senior HR team.

You will work with the Director of Human Resources and colleagues in the HR Team to support people related projects and to support delivery of our People Strategy.  You will help develop people solutions which demonstrate a clear understanding of business areas so that you are able to challenge, support and lead managers to make well informed decisions/actions regarding their people issues.

MCIPD qualified, you will evidence a proven track record of effective workforce planning and the delivery of a wide portfolio of people services and solutions for business areas and/or other complex, multi-site organisations during or following periods of significant transformational change as well a proven ability to motivate and lead a small team of HR professionals.

You will be driven, innovative, possess a sound knowledge of the business partner model, have expertise in highly complex employee relations and have a strong proven track record of performance.   You will work in partnership and proactively with managers and workforce colleagues to develop a comprehensive business partner and employee relations service to support the strategic goals of the Trust. Sound understanding of HR best practice, employment law and organisational change is essential as well as the ability to coach and support managers to increase management capability within the Trust.
