We are one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Higher and Further Education. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated leader to inspire and drive forward our Faculty of Digital Technologies and Creative Industries

Do you have what it takes to develop the Faculty’s strategy and build its talent to power future economic growth in some of the UK’s fastest-growing sectors?

If so, we want to hear from you.

The Digital Technologies and Creative Industries sectors make a huge contribution to the UK and play an increasingly vital role in powering the national economy. This is a fabulous opportunity for you to play your part in developing the technologists, entrepreneurs and wealth creators of the future.

This role is ideal for someone who relishes the prospect of leading a committed and productive Faculty team to deliver an innovative, relevant and inclusive curriculum in rapidly changing times. A major plank in our Strategy is to build even stronger alliances with our industry and university partners and drive up commercial revenues so your ability to build strong alliances and networks will be critical.

You will be an engaging and successful leader with a clear and ambitious vision for your Faculty and the College, someone who provides strategic leadership and has a collegial, collaborative style to drive change, power growth and deliver success for our learners, colleagues and stakeholders.  Your professional and personal credibility will enable you to foster strong and productive relationships with all those you come into contact with. Leading on interdisciplinary initiatives and embedding a cross-cutting approach to learning across a modern and forward thinking College is a key feature of the job

Ideally, you will be educated to Degree level or equivalent qualification and hold a qualification relating to a subject area within the Faculty, with an emphasis on digital technologies.

We have engaged Protocol to support us in our recruitment and for an informal confidential discussion about this role please contact Protocol’s David Beynon (07970 042334) or Chloe Skillington (0115 977 5531).
