Researcher in Education

At Plumpton College we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, inspiring and innovative Researcher in Education on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. You will contribute to the raising of teaching and learning standards across the College by taking a leading role in the research agenda of the College.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Educational Research or equivalent as well as a proven track record in mixed methods research practices. You will have experience in planning, managing and delivering at all stages of a research project with the capacity to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest research integrity.

The successful candidate will be working closely with College partner organisations, so you must be a clear communicator, professional and confident team player with a strong desire to raise education standards in the Further Education sector. The first research project led by the successful candidate will be related to online and blended learning in Further Education.
