Contract: Variable hours

We are looking for an Animal Care lecturer who is a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. The successful applicant will be able to teach City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma in Land Based Studies and Level 2 Technical Certificate in Animal Care. You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues. You will have an imaginative approach to teaching that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students. The ability to create innovative online learning resources is important as part of this role.

Applicants should have recent experience of teaching. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources.

Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector, and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must have the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

A teaching qualification is desirable and you must be passionate about being a professional educator to young people.
