Employability & Skills Co-ordinator

Fixed Term for 1 Year

The role:

  • To co-ordinate cross-service activities which foster employability within the curriculum in collaboration with the managers, including the delivery and embedding of employability skills and qualifications and ensuring that all programmes meet all necessary audit requirements.
  • Co-ordinate all employability events, particularly Work Week activities  working closely with all relevant teams and external agencies to ensure all learners are exposed to activities which will enhance their employment and promotion potential
  • To promote Westminster Adult Education Service to Westminster employers and attracting Traineeships where possible, which will lead to either jobs, apprenticeships or further education and training.
  • To ensure the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment is of the highest standard and responsive to the needs of all stakeholders within areas of responsibility

About you:

With previous experience in a post 16 education environment and experience of leading teams, you must have a degree or professional qualification in a subject relevant to the area and a teaching qualification at level 5 and also an IQA or other Assessor/IV qualification or willingness to work towards this qualification.
