An exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference and build community capacity for social action to be the Sixth Form Lecturer and Subject Lead for our new Social Action Access programme.

The course has been developed with Leeds Beckett University and Voluntary Action Leeds and co designed by community groups, charities and third sector organisations. A new Sixth Form Lecturer and Subject Lead is required to continue it's development to the delivery stage and to ensure it recruits and is delivered successfully.

The Sixth Form Lecturer and Subject Lead will ensure the course contributes to the college's strategic objectives around social mobility and contributing to the city's growth.

Leeds City College is committed to Equality of Opportunity (ensuring everyone is treated fairly) and safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful applicants are required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check as well as mandatory pre-employment checks which may also include checking social media profiles. We positively welcome applications from all sections of the community.
