About the role:

The School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, learner-centred individual to provide learning support to students within the School of Supported Learning, and to work with the Curriculum Manager (Supported learning) to coordinate/lead the learning support team to ensure a reliable support service is provided for students within the School of supported learning and cross college as required.

About you:

You will allocate support work by matching skills of LSAs to learners' needs, arrange effective cover in case of staff absences, liaise with managers and teaching staff to ensure support is adequate and appropriate, ensure LSAs contribute to reviews and records of achievement. This involves developing strong links with managers of other schools within the college.

You will be committed and resourceful and possess a sound knowledge of the learning disabilities sector and of the barriers faced by students.
