With exceptional facilities, students are able to utilise the well-equipped workshops which cater for all aspects of the curriculum. Workshops for brickwork and trowel trades are available at Moulton, Daventry and Higham Ferrers and are designed to ensure students get a realistic experience of working to an industrial standard. A number of online resources are available which complement the teaching and learning which can be accessed whilst at College or from home.
If you are educated to Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in Brickwork, are prepared to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education), hold a minimum of grade C or equivalent in GCSE English & Maths, and have a commitment to, and evidence of, CPD, we would love to hear from you!
Duties will include the teaching and training of students and other client groups to quality standards set by the college, tutoring and management of one or more course groups along with development of brickwork courses and assessment of student work. Further requirements of this role will be to participate in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service.
