Bricklaying Tutor

HMPYOI Aylesbury are seeking a passionate and creative Bricklaying Tutor to join the education team within the prison. 

As a Bricklaying Tutor / Lecturer, you will be working with a diverse group of learners between the ages of 18 – 21. This role will be both challenging and highly rewarding. You will need to be an innovative and imaginative individual who is able to engage with the learners, helping them achieve success within the Bricklaying courses. 

As a dynamic and highly motivated individual with excellent Bricklaying / Construction Skills, you will use your current industry experience and knowledge to support and inspire learners. Helping them to develop confidence, skills and experience and achieve Bricklaying / Construction qualifications. Learners can then utilise their abilities and accomplishments to gain sustainable employment upon release.

As a valued member of the Milton Keynes College Offender Learning team, you will also help to develop a strong Bricklaying programme that meets the needs of the learners, prison and Milton Keynes College.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated lecturer / tutor / teacher to deliver high learner success, through effective teaching and delivery in Bricklaying. This vacancy would suit a Bricklaying teacher, with a can do approach to education, who can offer skills & knowledge to our learners and guide them throughout their courses.
