Head of School - Sixth Form Centre

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead the Uxbridge College Sixth Form Centre.  As Head of School, you will be responsible for the full range of provision on full time A Level and GCSE courses and BTEC Science programmes. 

You must have a record of success in curriculum management and ideally this will include experience of managing A Level and GCSE curricula. A good understanding of awarding body regulations is also required, alongside up to date knowledge of curriculum reform. You should also have knowledge of value-added methodology, financial budgets, excellent IT skills and a good understanding of Further Education funding. 

You will lead a team of Section Managers, Course Team Leaders and Lecturers and you should therefore have a range of management skills including excellent communication and team leadership as well as good planning and organising abilities. You must have an advanced level teaching qualification, together with the knowledge and experience to motivate the team and maintain our high standards of A Level and GCSE success.
