Reaseheath Training is the work based learning arm of Reaseheath College and is seeking to appoint Assessor Trainer to support the Apprenticeship Team, train and assess a caseload of apprentices at all levels working in the Construction sector. 

We are a dynamic and busy team who, work closely with employers, seek to maximise apprentice's potential by developing their skills in the work place to support them in achieving their career aspirations and vision.

The Role

As a Trainer and Assessor in Construction Plastering you will manage, review and train a caseload of apprentices who are based in the workplace and ensure that the success rates of apprentices remain at the level set by the College.

Duties will include: assessing the progress of apprentices; maintaining up to date records of assessment; supporting employers with the learning and teaching of their apprentices; creating a training plan for employers using agreed Standards; designing individual learning and development package to meet their needs; delivering workshops one to one instruction and training sessions relating to knowledge skills and behaviour development.

Additionally, you will be expected to provide regular and purposeful reports to employers, apprentices and the college so that there is a clear plan of which is time bound for each apprentice, which allows completion with agreed target dates. You will provide information, advice and guidance throughout the qualification to help apprentices get this best of the programme and to help with next steps in their academic journey.

Part of this role will involve setting up work placements with employers as well as building working relationships with employers to ensure that all apprentices receive a smooth and consistent learning experience.
