Colchester Institute is looking for a Course leader in Photography to provide clear and dynamic teaching, leadership and direction to the FdA /BA (Hons) Photography programme. This involves ensuring the smooth running, organisation and operation of the course, and working in close collaboration with other staff, to ensure the highest possible level of student achievement.
You will have extensive experience of teaching relevant to the Photography curriculum, as well as knowledge and experience of analogue and digital photographic platforms. You will also have recent relevant professional practice or industry experience and an awareness of current contemporary Photographic practises.
You will have the ability to plan and deliver imaginative and motivational sessions with a clear focus on the needs of the individual learner.
You will hold a Postgraduate qualification in an Art and Design subject, or the equivalent, and hold a teaching qualification, such as PGCE, or willingness to achieve this in post.
