We are looking to add to our bank of Support Workers to work with students with learning support needs in our Stranraer Campus. The main function will be to assist Lecturers and Trainers both within the classroom situation and on educational trips with all students (e.g. swimming, shopping, visits, annual residential, etc). This will also involve overseeing basic hygiene procedures with students.
The post holder will be expected to participate in a rota covering lunchtime and break time supervision as well as overseeing arrivals and departures.
Some experience of supporting vulnerable people is essential. Qualifications in Care or Support would be an advantage but not essential.
