The Childcare and Education Professions Department at Barnsley College provides a vibrant and rewarding working environment where your skills will be used to their full potential. We are aiming to recruit an adaptable HE Teacher to join our team to deliver outstanding provision to our young people and employers.
Your main teaching responsibilities will be on the Early Years BA, Foundation Degree, Professional Practice (top up) and Access to HE Childcare. You will have practical professional experience in Childcare and Education and hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Early Years, Early Childhood/Childhood Studies, Education).You will also possess a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards). Ideally you will hold a post graduate or a Master's Degree (in a relevant subject area, as above, but also post-graduate experience/Master’s Degree in Social Science Research). You should have experience of teaching and assessing in a range of Higher Education Childcare/Education subject areas (levels 4, 5, and 6) and developing teaching and assessment resources.
