Student Performance Manager - Fast Forward (Maternity Cover)

Fixed term until May 2019 – to cover maternity leave.

We are seeking to appoint an adaptable and enthusiastic person with excellent communication and IT skills to support our Fast Forward students. The role involves working with students on a 1:1 basis, providing pastoral support and delivering our core tutorial programme in-group situations.

This is a varied role and requires a dedicated individual who enjoys working with complex young people and who is keen to support students studying from Entry to Level 2 to succeed and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with teaching and cross college support staff in order to ensure that all students progress on to further programmes of study or employment by achieving all parts of their study programme, as well as developing skills essential to life and independence.

The Fast Forward curriculum is part of the Foundation Faculty working with a wide range of vulnerable and challenging students. The staff are passionate about providing the qualifications and training that local employers and communities need. It would be helpful but not essential if you have previous experience or knowledge of the foundation area.
