This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of IT Short Courses and Bespoke Solutions. The training could be at basic level for complete beginners up to an advanced level for experienced users.  The delivery could be in one of the College Campuses or in other approved venues such as on-site for a business. Ideally able to work on a PC and Mac platforms.

The subjects could include:

  • user skills - desktop applications such as MS Office, internet browsers and company specific applications;
  • Excel;
  • Word; 
  • Outlook;
  • Access;
  • Adobe;
  • project management, applications, for example SAP;
  • Main software languages, like SQL, C#, Java, PHP;
  • IT specialisations, including firewalls and anti-virus packages.

We are looking for someone with experience and/or qualifications that would relish the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience. You will have to be able to develop training courses and create a dynamic and exciting learning environment that will inspire the candidates throughout the course with an energetic and stimulating delivery style. As part of this, you may be asked to conduct an IT skills gap analysis, which then informs the course and training design.

As delivery could be in a variety of different locations, a driving licence is essential.
