Lecturer in Brick Laying

Hugh Baird College is a large, dynamic Further Education College, in Merseyside, delivering 300 courses to more than 5000 students from entry level to full degrees.  The College is a friendly, diverse and vibrant place to work where students and the local community are at the heart of everything we do. We have an opportunity within our Technical Skills Directorate, for an individual who is able to contribute to creating an environment that exceeds the expectations of our students, parents and employers.

You will teach on our Wet Trades programmes from level 1 to level 3 and be an individual committed to excellence in the classroom. A level 3 qualification in a Wet Trade related area, together with a teaching qualification and experience of teaching up to and including level 3 on brick laying courses is essential.  Knowledge of NVQ’s in Bricklaying and Tiling and an A1 Assessor qualification is desirable.
