Lecturer - Maths - GCSE and Functional Skills

Full and part-time hours considered.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths within our cross-college provision. This is a high-profile area of the college and crucial in supporting our learners with their development and progress onto higher courses or the workplace.

You will need to possess a degree in Maths or a related subject area, and will either possess an advanced level teaching qualification (PGCE/DET or equivalent) or be willing to work towards qualification, which will be supported financially by the College. Ideally you will have experience of teaching or tutoring Maths, but more important is the ability to engage and enthuse 16 to 18 year olds from a variety of vocational disciplines.
