Systems Developer

Location: City Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Developer to join our established IT team at Coventry College.

In this key role you will be central to implementing and maintaining the key systems for the merged organisation.

You will take a lead on the management, development and maintenance of all College systems, ensuring that the systems meet current organisation and user need, taking account of the future requirements of the College.

You will also ensure the safe and reliable running of all systems, in order to maintain an outstanding staff and student user experience.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent technical and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with staff and external suppliers. The ability to work well as part of a team with a structured approach to your work is required.

Educated to degree level within IT (or a specialist or professional qualification relevant to the area of work), you will have experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of systems. You will need to have effective development and maintenance of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and experience of industry standard programming language including Java and Java Script.
