The Curriculum area of Construction and Engineering within the University Centre Colchester is looking for a Lecturer in Engineering. You will be a committed, knowledgeable and communicative Engineering professional with relevant industry experience. In this role, you will act as lead for an innovative employer-sponsored BSc in Engineering and teach on a range of higher level Engineering programmes in the School of Construction and Engineering, including higher/degree apprenticeships.
The successful applicant will hold an Honours degree, or equivalent, in Engineering and be willing to obtain a recognised teaching/training qualification if not already held.
Benefits include 40 days holiday plus bank-holidays, the option to purchase additional annual leave and a defined benefit pension with around 15% employers’ contribution.
