Basingstoke College of Technology, located in North Hampshire, is a leading and well respected further education provider. The college prides itself on its excellent links with business and the success of its learners in securing positive destinations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and friendly person who is proactive and hardworking to join our friendly and supportive team. We have hours available between 15 to 25 per week, which will need to be work flexibly up to 5 days, Monday to Saturday. The role will include late evenings and will also include Saturday’s daytime when required.  A willingness to be flexible is desired.

The campus assistant’s role is to provide accessible, efficient, effective and excellent frontline care on a daily basis to the students, staff and visitors to the college. Helping to maintain the functionality and appearance of the college environment and to contribute to smooth site operations, greet visitors where required and assisting in the closing of the college in the evenings.

We welcome both experienced and non-experienced people to apply for this role, but previous experience of working in a school, college or hospitality role is advantageous. The ideal candidate will live within easy reach of the College. The successful candidate will be a key-holder for which training will be provided. First Aid training is desired or the willingness to attend course organised by the college.

Certain aspects of the role will be physically demanding and will involve lifting and carrying.
