An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Interactive Media to join our established team at Coventry College.
In this key role you will be the course organiser for Level 2 and 3 Interactive Media and to teach across the Media and Digital Curriculum. You will need to be familiar with BTEC NQF.
You will need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can demonstrate evidence of delivering excellent teaching, learning and assessment along with a commitment to providing an effective and stimulating learning environment for students. This role will require excellent communication and organisational skills coupled with a strong commitment to develop the potential of all learners.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience of working within an FE environment and practical experience of working within the Creative Media Industry. You will also need to have knowledge of post-production technical workflows as well as using a range of different industry standard programmes.
You will need to have skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Web Design
- Games Design
- Graphic Design
- 2D animation and motion graphics
You will need to have the following qualifications:
- Degree Level Qualification in a related Subject and/or substantive relevant vocational experience
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE/Cert Ed/DTTLS or equivalent
- Level 2 Maths and English Qualification
