Electrical Training Officer / NVQ3 Assessor

As a qualified electrician, you know what it takes to complete work to exceptional standards of safety and quality. You have the right technical abilities. You are up to date with the most recent technology. And just as importantly, you combine real attention to detail with the ability to think logically and solve complex problems on your feet.

So who better than you to help us train and develop the next generation of electricians?

We serve approximately 6,500 apprentices and 3,000 employers in 7 regions across England and Wales. All of our funding is reinvested in apprenticeship training.

Fully qualified in electrical installation, you must have verifiable relevant industry experience and current knowledge of industry working practices and techniques relevant in a building services engineering environment. Any knowledge or involvement in Government training schemes and National Vocational Qualifications would be an advantage - as would TDLB, D32/D33, A1 Unit, TAQA or 17th Edition (2382) qualifications.

Although based from home, you will need to live in the Midlands area and be willing to travel regularly throughout your business region.

In addition to the salary, there is an excellent benefits package that includes training and development, an occupational pension scheme, 25 days annual leave and BUPA.

A DBS disclosure will be required.

We welcome applicants from all sections of the community. JTL is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all its employees to share this commitment.
