As an experienced leader and manager with an understanding of the delivery of English and Maths in the FE sector you’ll be responsible for working with curriculum teams to deliver English and Maths both through Functional Skills and GCSE resits to full time students and apprentices at the College. This will include the timetabling structure, resource management, initial assessment and delivery of outstanding outcomes. You will lead and manage a team of practitioners and support the ongoing development of English and Maths within the curriculum, a key strategic priority for the College.
It is vital that you have extensive working knowledge of the Functional Skills and GCSE curriculum as you will be required to apply this knowledge to the future planning of the English and Maths provision at Moulton College. You will be educated to degree level, and hold a teacher training qualification. You will be able to demonstrate a record of achievements in teaching and learning and evidence the successful implementation of innovative curriculum developments in Maths and/or English. You will be an outstanding communicator and at ease liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders to progress key plans.
