Business Development Manager

37 hours per week

Location - National Fluid Power Centre, Worksop

Joining the senior management team at the NFPC, you would take on a high level of responsibility in increasing the annual business turn-over at the Centre, whilst increasing our market share across as many different sectors as possible. Having a working knowledge of companies within the Sheffield City Region would be advantageous, as well as that of the various LEPS and Chambers of Commerce and Industry around the UK. This role is associated with the leads into new business and that of identifying new customers and new markets to add on to the existing NFPC business profile. Knowing the business sectors and industries in which the NFPC now works will be extremely important, as will working to extend these accordingly and improve our market share. Personal confidence and good communication skills are an absolute necessity at this level. On occasion, this role will involve extensive travel, meeting and hosting potential clients, and staying away as considered necessary. Further to this, you will be responsible for setting up and managing NFPC Industry Exhibitions, breakfast meetings and technical seminars. Website development will also fall within the scope of this role.
