Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering

Loughborough College is experiencing significant growth in its Technology area. Engineering at Further Education level at Loughborough College continues to grow, in terms of both full-time provision and apprenticeships.

We are looking for an engineering graduate with experience in the general concepts of Engineering.  Experience of teaching on the Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering is essential.  Additionally, experience of Engineering Mathematics, Mechanical systems and technology, Engineering Design and Materials, Welding principles and Technology, Primary and Secondary Forming Techniques would be an advantage.

As a key member of our dedicated curriculum delivery team, you will be involved in teaching and assessment, recruiting prospective learners and supporting curriculum development. 

You will have a proven track record of industrial experience and as a lecturer, preferably with previous course/programme leadership experience.  You will also have sound planning, administration and organisational skills.

The salary for this post is £24,262 - £30,329 per annum (plus £3,000 STEM uplift)
