The Business and Management team deliver education and training to a range of students wishing to develop knowledge, understanding and transferable skills relating to the sector. As Programme Area Leader of a team, you will lead and oversee curriculum planning and activity for the related programmes to include a variety of additional short courses to ensure innovative, quality provision.
The HE team deliver programmes in collaboration with Birmingham City University and the University of Derby.
The ideal candidate should have experience of delivering high quality provision up to, and including, level 6. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager and the Head of School to plan, monitor, manage and evaluate the offer.
You will be a highly self motivated and driven individual, encompassing a strong sense of autonomy. You will possess strong presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate achievement of targets. In addition you will have a relevant teaching qualification and experience of course management and delivery, together with experience of leading and supporting colleagues.
You will be a role model for college students and will work to professional standards.
This is an exciting and challenging role that would suit an individual who is flexible in their approach, highly motivated and passionate about the sector and learning. You will be expected to work flexibly including evening delivery and interviewing.
