Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator with a recognised qualification to join our Student Services Provision at Stewart Park.  This is a permanent part time role working 7.4 hours per week for 42 weeks of the year.

The successful candidate will address the mental well-being needs of students, co-ordinate the provision of appropriate in college support, and will refer to specialist external agencies, where necessary.  They will manage and deliver the provision of outstanding counselling / mental health support to Askham Bryan College students.

Educated to degree level, candidates should have substantial experience supporting people with mental health difficulties, particularly young people and adults with a wide variety of issues and needs in a counselling / support environment.  Candidates should also have exceptional listening and support skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.
