About the role:

We are looking for an outstanding Lecturer in A Level Sociology, Government and Politics, who will have high expectations of all students. You will be based at King Cross Centre site and be a part of our A level team. You will be responsible for providing effective teaching, support and assessment to our students. 

This role is a fixed term contract for maternity cover and will be starting in August 2019 and ending on 31 July 2020.

About you:

You must have appropriate academic and teaching qualifications. You must also have recent relevant experience of teaching A Level Sociology, Government and Politics with proven success. You will be responsible for providing effective teaching, support and assessment, therefore it is essential that you have experience of curriculum planning and assessing. You will also have experience of working with 16-19 year olds and an understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of this age group.

Westminster Kingsway College is a further education college in central London with centres in Camden and Westminster. It offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses for 16-18 year olds and adult learners, such as A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Foundation Degrees, Access to Higher Education, employability training and short courses. 

This role will be starting in August 2019
