Academic Support Worker

In this role you will provide high quality academic or vocational support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities during scheduled teaching and learning sessions. This support will be either to individuals or small groups of students who are enrolled on College courses. You will hold minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area e.g. Catering, Construction Crafts, Engineering, etc. A commitment to supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities is essential and you will demonstrate empathy, sensitivity and have the ability to develop and sustain rapport with students. Experience in a learning support role in an educational environment and working with people with learning difficulties is desirable.

This is a fixed term position until 14 June 2019 and there are various hours of work available.

The closing date is 28 April 2019.
Interviews are scheduled to take place in week commencing 29 April 2019.​
