Careers Advisor

Location: Primarily Woodland Campus
22.5 hours per week

We are currently looking for a Careers Advisor to provide professional Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance in a wide range of settings to students at the College, from the point of enquiry to their progression from College to employment, training or Higher Education. 

This role involves providing impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance in a variety of formats including: 1:1 guidance interviews; drop-ins; group tutorials; and career related events. You will need to be an effective team player with the ability to relate to a diverse range of young people and mature clients from a range of diverse backgrounds. 

You will hold a Level 6 Careers Advice and Guidance qualification, have proven experience of providing careers education information advice and guidance to young people and adults teamed with excellent LMI knowledge. Experience offering careers advice within education at Higher Education level and a Level 7 qualification would be advantageous.
