IT Infrastructure Manager

Nottingham College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the College IT Infrastructure and team.  The role is responsible for defining, implementing and managing the infrastructure across the College’s campuses and in addition will be expected to develop an up and coming team through living the core values and standards required to take the department on a journey through good to great. 
 
This opportunity comes at an exciting time for IT in the College as it embarks on a wholescale project to become a truly digital organisation and rapidly transitions to become a data driven, cloud-based institution that can offer our students and staff an innovative environment in which to work.  Alongside the drive to become a digital college the successful candidate will also be heavily involved in delivering excellent IT facilities in the College’s new Skills Hub based in the heart of Nottingham and due to open in September 2020. 
 
We are looking for a committed and solutions-oriented IT professional with experience in managing complex IT environments to multiple populations of customers, with a strong background in managing projects and diverse teams.  The role also involves ensuring that best practice is embedded within the team.
