SGS College’s Exams Departments have exciting opportunities for invigilators.

Our busy exams teams run both onscreen and written exams all year round. We are currently seeking applications for exam invigilators to join the team without having to commit to a fixed regular pattern of work. Availability in May and June would however be an advantage as this is our busiest time.

Whilst previous experience of exams invigilation is an advantage it is not essential as full training and initial job-shadowing will take place. Working as part of a supportive exams team, you will contribute to ensuring a calm environment for the exams, giving candidates confidence in the process and ensuring they have all the materials they need.

You will play a key part in ensuring examination procedures are followed and regulations enforced. You will be supported by an experienced exams team who will be on hand to provide assistance if required.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, the ability to be responsive and proactive and keep calm under pressure. Attention to detail is also essential.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
