The Further Education (FE) sector in England is experiencing a climate of unprecedented change and turbulence, but also of opportunity. Within this context, Milton Keynes College is in an excellent position to thrive and grow. Located as it is, in the fastest growing city in the country.

Milton Keynes is a vibrant and dynamic city, home to some of the biggest brands, thriving SME’s and the most ambitious of entrepreneurs. Critical to its ongoing success is the provision of people with the right skills, and that’s where MK College, as the largest further education and training provider in Milton Keynes, makes a substantial contribution to its development.

Our people support the development of both employers and students; creating connections that result in a mutual benefit and positive impact on our economy and community. People and partnerships are at the heart of everything we do and enable us to deliver on our promise to ‘transform lives through learning’.

We employ over 1,500 people operating across multiple locations, with a diverse range of operations. We have a strong foundation and an effective team in place, however, maintaining the ambition to continuously improve and unlock potential is a key priority for us.

As our new Chief People Officer you will play a critical role in shaping our future and helping us to realise our potential.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and commercially oriented strategic leader who can evidence successful leadership and implementation of organisational culture & change in a large organisation.

As a member of the Executive Team reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a highly effective business partner with strategic vision and ability to influence at all levels. You will have a proven track record in leading teams, driving accountability and performance-improvement whilst being committed to supporting diversity and empowering staff to succeed.

We are looking for an individual with ambition and focus. If you are confident you can help us realise our potential and want to play a vital part in the next stage of our journey we’d love to hear from you.

For an informal discussion with Dr Julie Mills, Principal & Chief Executive, or to arrange a visit, please contact Liz Bolitho on 01908 637007 to arrange a time which is mutually convenient.
