Lecturer in GCSE and Functional Skills English

The Loughborough College Sport department are seeking an English Lecturer, to teach GCSE and Functional Skills English to a wide range of Sports Learners in vocational settings.

We are looking for someone who will deliver inspiring teaching and learning and monitor progress in lessons, ensuring all learners are on track to achieve their target grades through implementing appropriate assessments and providing high quality feedback.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage learners through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies.

You will be required to teach English Functional Skills and GCSE to our Sports learners and it is expected that you will have previous experience of teaching both of these qualifications. A relevant degree or equivalent is essential and applicants must already possess a teaching qualification. You must have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
