Part Time: 25 hours per week

We have a vacancy for a Digital Skills teacher within the School of Adult, Community and ESOL. You will be working with adult students, including the unemployed and targeted work for employers from a wide range of businesses. The successful applicant will need experience of Microsoft word programmes and the Google suite of applications including Google classroom, documents, drive, sheets and an understanding of social media. You will need to be confident using mobile devices, tablets and chrome books/laptops as well as standard computers in classrooms. You will deliver to a wide range of groups and will need to utilise a variety of teaching delivery methods, including a learner centred approach and workshop delivery. You need to able to deliver creative digital and employability courses, which will inspire students to gain the skills needed to find employment. It is expected that will embed wider skills including English, maths and employability skills into your teaching. The position is initially based at Joseph Priestley Centre Beeston but you will be responding to student and employer needs and will be required to work at different venues including evening and weekend work in line with business need.

As this is a part time role, the actual salary based on the lowest point on the salary scale will be approx: £17,805 pa (gross).
