Sports Studies and Outdoor Adventure has been offered as an academic discipline at Moulton since 1999. The College has responded to the enormous growth in students attending the range of sports courses by heavily investing in new state of the art facilities. Alongside the full range of training areas, sports pitches and courts more recent additions have included a sports therapy clinic, indoor sports hall housing a climbing wall and Olympic free weights area and full size rubber-crumb and first Generation Astroturf suitable for hockey, tennis and netball and our brand new athletics track.
The Head of Football is intended to be a figurehead for our football academy. As well as providing first class coaching, teaching and training of academy students, you will also be a key contact with our partners. Internally you will also provide mentoring and support to colleagues engaged in football coaching and development.
Applicants will preferably hold graduate or equivalent level qualifications in a sports or sports related discipline with sound administrative and organisational skills. A relevant teaching qualification and/or industrial experience will be an advantage. Support is also available internally for those looking to develop their teaching skills.
