Head of Student Support

West Highland College UHI is looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to the position of Head of Student Support. This is a key role within the College Management and the Academic Affairs Leadership Teams and the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic and operational management of the college. The post holder will drive the college ambition for excellent student engagement and support for learning for all learners across our 10 College centres.

As Head of Student Services you will have lead responsibility for the development and delivery of Student Support Services, Administration and Customer Support and Community and Employment Development. 

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum qualification at SCQF level 9 and have relevant and appropriate level of experience of working in a student services role. Consideration will also be given to candidates who may not meet the qualification requirements but can demonstrate significant experience in a senior student services role and meet all other essential and desirable criteria listed in the Person Specification, via the link.
