We’re now recruiting a Digital Content Apprentice as part of our Apprenticeship Scheme. At Equus you will develop and keep up-to-date the content on our website and assist with producing content for the Sales & Marketing Team as required.APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities:

1. Create product content on our website. This will include:

  • Core product lines
  • New season ranges
  • New brands

2. Write high quality product descriptions for all products;

3. Ensure complete accuracy of all product descriptions;

4. Liaise with suppliers when queries arise about their products;

5. Create and curate other content as required including:

  • Product collections
  • Website taxonomy
  • Home Page, Department & Brand Pages
  • Blogs & Articles
  • Buying Guides
  • Size Guides
  • Photography & Video Content

6. Optimise website content to ensure high rankings in search engine results;

7. Manage media assets correctly;

8. Support the Content Manager as and when required with other tasks, e.g. writing and editing copy for use online and in print or supporting the Marketing Team with required content for campaigns; and

9. Follow company policy and processes as set out by the Directors and Content Manager.

Entry requirements

GCSE English and Maths A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalent

Qualifications taken

The Apprenticeship will incorporate face to face workshops, online learning and on the job experience.

Your Apprenticeship training will include:

  • Full Apprenticeship Standard in Level 3 Digital Marketer
  • MTA HTML 5
  • CIM Level 4 award in Digital Marketing
  • Functional skills (if required in both Maths and English)
  • College Attendance at Silbury Campus
  • Regular visits from the college into the workplace
  • Assessments and observations in the workplace
  • Use of e-portfolio
  • On-going training and support from the employer
  • End Point Assessment
