Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Course Manager for Horticulture and RHS programmes to join our Horticulture Department here at York, within spectacular grounds. This is a permanent role working 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate will plan, prepare and teach for an agreed number of contact hours accepting responsibility for supervising the behaviour and discipline of groups of learners on courses. They will work closely with the Head of Department to drive forward quality and ensure high standards within all elements of the study programme.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Horticulture or a related subject, candidates should hold a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). With a range of practical horticultural experience, you will have ability to lead, enthuse, prioritise and to multi-task.
