Team Leader - Computing and Digital

37 hours per week, Fixed Term – 2 years (62 days annual leave).

West Highland College UHI is seeking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to lead and manage the Computing curriculum area and assist in the development of the College’s digital strategy and plans.

This is a key role for the College as it seeks to realise its ambitious plans for a new Centre for Science and Technology and delivery of its STEM strategy. This includes continuing to develop our computing provision and the holistic embedment of digital skills within all curriculum areas. This will be achieved with innovative approaches to learning, teaching and assessment and engagement with schools and the wider community.

The successful candidate will be qualified to SCQF Level 10 in a relevant discipline or hold current and relevant industry qualifications. They will have significant experience of teaching and leading curriculum development and delivery in a further or higher education context. A teaching qualification is highly desirable, if the successful candidate does not possess a relevant qualification they must commit to CPD to gain a teaching qualification.

In line with our Equality and Diversity policy, West Highland College UHI is committed to ensuring that all candidates are treated on the basis of their merits and abilities, and that unfair and unlawful discrimination is eliminated. We positively welcome applications from all sections of the community.
