Weekends and Holiday Cover - Newton Rigg
Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Animal Technician to join our Land Department at Newton Rigg, within spectacular grounds. This role will be working 8 hours per week over the weekend plus holiday cover.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Technician and Programme Manager to drive forward quality and ensure high standards within all elements of the husbandry requirements for all animals kept on campus. Maintaining a high standard of welfare for all animals is key during weekends and holiday sessions.
Educated to level 3 in an animal management related subject, candidates should have an excellent knowledge of working with a variety of animals. They will also have the ability to lead, enthuse and multi-task.
