Group Careers Consultant

Activate Learning is a pioneering education group which is growing to meet opportunities in the education market. From a single FE college, we have evolved into an international group including secondary, further and higher education, apprenticeship and workforce training, consultancy and commercial business.

The post holder will deliver an exceptional customer experience that raises the reputation of Activate Learning and sets it apart from other providers. You will contribute to the development and delivery of Activate Careers, a pioneering careers service that impacts positively on progression outcomes and internal 'right student, right course' targets. You will provide high quality impartial careers information, advice and guidance to external clients via the National Careers Service and to schools, prospective Activate students, applicants and current students, through a variety of media and events, enabling them to make well informed and realistic course pathway and career choices. 

The applicant will need to have:

Desirable

  • Level 6 or above in careers guidance (QCG, PG diploma or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an FE setting providing quality information, advice and guidance
  • Assessor Award
  • Experience of developing careers education programmes
  • Experience of delivering National Careers Service and databases
  • Experience of delivering a job brokering service
