Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England.

The Department of Agriculture is looking to recruit staff members to teach across a varied and interesting range of programmes at both Level 2 and 3.

Applications are encouraged from both full time and part-time applicants.

We are ideally looking for candidates with specialisms in the following:

  • Livestock Production and Stockmanship (strong practical skills and knowledge)
  • Agri-Business Management
  • Land Based Machinery Operations (strong practical skills and knowledge)
  • Service, repair and maintenance of land-based machinery and equipment

The successful candidates will also act as Course Managers for a group of learners.

Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Agriculture (or a closely related subject), the successful candidate will have well-established work related experience. Teaching and assessing experience is desirable, as is a recognised teaching qualification however full training will be provided as part of professional development.

Above all, we are looking for someone with strong understanding and competence in their subject area disciplines who has a real enthusiasm to pass on that knowledge and skill to others.
