SERVICE DESK LEAD
Salary circa: £32,000 p.a. (depending on experience) + benefits, based in SE London
We are looking for a self-motivated, adaptable and personable individual who will transform the current Help Desk into a true Service Desk, ensuring the correct logging of incidents & requests and the correct workflows for all support activities. You will be leading the first line support team, leading by example the handling of technical support calls, walk-ups, emails etc.
You will assign technical support issues that cannot be addressed by the Service Desk to the correct team, ensuring timely and professional service. Additionally, you will select, hire, train and motivate staff to provide a professional service at all times. The ideal candidate has a qualification in a Computer related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience, as well as detailed knowledge of Windows, Apple and mobile operating systems. ITIL Foundation Level certification is mandatory for this position and if not already qualified to a higher level, you will be trained and expected to be certified at Practitioner level in your first year.
